Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Magic Link is operated by Alec Di Vito (Canada). This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and what rights you have.

1. What we collect

We collect your name and email address when you create an account (via Google Sign-In). We also store the documents you upload and the structured data extracted from them.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the Magic Link service — to process, extract, and display structured information from your documents. We do not use your documents or extracted data to train AI models.

3. Storage and security

All documents and extracted data are stored on-premises and encrypted at rest. We use mostly on-premises GPU hardware for AI processing; cloud GPU resources may be added in future and this policy will be updated if that changes.

4. Third parties

Magic Link uses Google OAuth for authentication. When you sign in with Google, Google processes your login according to their own privacy policy. We do not share your documents or extracted data with any third party.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. If you would like your account and all associated data deleted, contact support@magiclink.ca. Deletion is handled manually during the alpha period.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@magiclink.ca.

7. Alpha notice

Magic Link is in alpha and being tested with a small number of users. This policy reflects current practices and will be updated as the product evolves.
